Makeup Tutorial Using Tape.

In this post I will show you how I got this eye look. Yes I used tape, it creates a beautiful harsh line and can help you get your cat eye flick straight, you can also use shadow shields to do this. I've been wanting to buy one but until then I will have to use the tape.

> Í þessari færslu ætla ég að sýna ykkur hvernig ég gerði þessa augnförðun. Ég notaði límband til þess að fá beina línu á augnskuggan og að hjálpa mér að fá gel eyelinerinn í beina svona cat eye línu. Það er líka hægt að nota shadow shields til þess að gera þetta og þeir fást hér. Ég þarf að næla mér í svona en núna þarf límbandið bara að duga.

I used my sisters Garnier 5 Second Blur Primer and the her Gosh CC cream in 02 Ivory. I really wanted to try out these products and was very pleased with them!
On my eyebrows I used my Body Shop brow and liner kit in 02. Then I put on the tape.

 > Ég notaði Garnier 5 Second Blur Primer sem systir mín á og svo Gosh CC kremið í 02 Ivory. Mig langaði svo að prófa þessar vörur hjá henni og var mjög ánægð!
Á augabrúnirnar notaði ég Body Shop brow and liner kit í 02. Svo setti ég límbandið á.

Then I used Peach Smoothie from Makeup Geek in my crease. I love this colour to help me blend out other colours. 

 > Síðan notaði ég Peach Smoothie frá Makeup Geek í glóbus línuna mína. Ég elska að nota þennan lit til að hjálpa mér að blanda út hina litina. 


I used Cocoa Bear from Makeup Geek in the crease and I dragged it a little out to get the cat eye affect. 
With the Peach Smoothie underneath made it so much easier to blend out. 

> Ég notaði Cocoa Bear frá Makeup Gekk í glóbus línuna og dró það pínu út til þess að fá svona kattar augu áhrifin. (Mjög góð lýsing er það ekki haha?).



I then took my Maybelline gel liner in black and draw a line from the outer corners upwards. Do you see how the liner gets out on the tape, it doesn't matter because when the tape is off the line will be sharp! I love this technique.

> Svo tók ég Maybelline gel linerinn minn í svörtum lit go dró þunna línu meðfram límbandinu og upp. Sjáiði hvernig það kemur svart á límbandið, þegar ég tek það af er línan bein og fín, ef ekki væri fyrir límbandið þá 




Here I have taking the tape off and added Shimma Shimma from Makeup Geek on the eyelids. I also did a thin line with my gel liner really close to my lash line.

> Hérna er ég svo búin að taka límbandið af og setja litinn Shimma Shimma frá Makeup Geek á allt augnlokið. Ég setti þunna línu af gel eyelinerinum uppvið augnhárin mín.




And this is my finished look. I used my Mac Pro Longwear concealer (I only just bought it and I am in love!) under my eyes and on any blemishes. I then used my Honey bronzer from the Body Shop and one of my blushes from my Blush By 3 pallet from Sleek which I blogged about here. To finish off the look I highlighted with my Mac Soft and Gentle and added Nyx Butter Lipgloss which I will have to blog about!
