Tutorial Tuesday: Purple smokey eye.

In this post I show you how I created this purple smokey eye that you see in the picture above. Enjoy! x

> Í þessari færslu sýni ég ykkur hvernig ég gerði fjólubláu smokey förðunina sem ég er með á myndinni fyrir ofan. 


I start with my foundation, eyebrows, bronzing, blush and highlighting done. Please Like this post if you want me to do a foundation routine post and I will show you how I did this :)

> Ég byrjaði með að vera búin að setja á mig meik, fylla í augabrúnirnar, setja á mig sólapúður, kinnalit og highlighta. Ef ykkur langar að sjá hvernig ég geri þetta allt (þetta er það sem að ég geri í hvert sinn sem að ég mála mig þegar ég er að fara einhvert) þá endilega Likeið þessa færslu :)


I wanted to share a little tip with you guys. If you don't own any eyebrow gel (like me) you can just spray hairspray on your spoolie and brush it through the brows and they should stay in place all day long! 

> Ef að þið eins og ég hafið einhvern veginn aldrei keypt ykkur augabrúna gel en viljið halda augabrúnunum í skefjum þá getiði gert eins og ég gerði hér. Ég tók bara hársprey og spreyjaði á augabrúna greiðuna mína og greiddi í gegnum augabrúnina! Virkar mjög vel :)



Anyway to start the eye look I took Nyx eyeshadow in Taupe and brushed it to the crease. This is just so it will be easier for me to blend the darker shades together and to blend them out.

> Allaveganna ég byrjaði á að setja Nyx augnskugga í litnum Taupe í gegnum glóbuslínuna. Þetta gerði ég til þess að það yrði auðveldara að blanda dökku litunum saman og til þess að blanda þeim út.



Then I took a black eyeshadow, this acts as a base for the purple shadow and will make the purple appear a lot more darker. I just put this all over the eyelid and then used the brush that had taupe still on it to blend it out to the crease.

> Síðan tók ég bara svartan augnskugga og setti yfir allt augnlokið. Þetta gerði ég til þess að fjólublái liturinn myndi vera dekkri og svarti liturinn er ákveðið base fyrir hann. Þar sem að fjólublái augnskuggin er svona pínu laus. Ég notaði síðan burstan sem ég notaði með Taupe og blandaði svarta litinn upp í glóbus línuna.





This is the star of the show. Loreal infallible in Purple Obsession, This is such an amazing colour! I just placed this right on top of the black shadow and used taupe to blend it out. I did spray some of my Elf makeup setting spray on the brush so it would pick up more of the colour since this is a loose eyeshadow.

> Þá er komið að aðalmálinu. Loreal infallible augnskuggin í litnum Purple Obsession. Elska elska elska þennan lit. Ekki skaðar að ég keypti hann á 50% afslátti hérna í Borganesi! 
Þetta er svona svoldið laus augnskuggi þannig ég spreyjaði smá af Elf makeup setting spreyinu mínu á burstan svo að hann myndi taka upp meiri lit. Ég setti þetta svo bara yfir svarta litin og blandaði með taupe litnum.





Then to add a little more depth in the look I took a black colour that had a little pink shimmer in it and put it in the outer V of the eye and through the crease. Of course I used taupe to blend it out. The key in smokey eyes is just blend blend blend BLEND! Then it will all look good! I used the first black colour and purple on the lower lash line and used a black eyeliner in the waterline. 
I highlighted the inner corners with shimma shimma from Makeup Geek.

> Til þess að gera aðeins meiri dýpt í lookið þá tók ég svartan augnskugga sem var með pínulitlu bleiku glimmeri í og setti hann í ytri Vaffið á auganum og í glóbuslínuna. Blandaði litnum svo með Taupe. Aðalatriði í að gera smokey förðun (mín skoðun) er bara að blanda blanda og blanda öllu saman og þá er þetta komið! Ég setti svo svarta og fjólubláa á neðri augnhárin og svartan eyeliner í vatnslínuna.
Til þess að highlighta innri krókinn þá notaði ég shimma shimma frá Makeup Geek.




To add a little (a lot) more drama to the look I used Socialeyes eyelashes in Flirt and then finished the look with a nudey pink lip.
